The design is inspired by my childhood memories of playing in rivers near mountains, where the gentle flow of water over smooth stones left a lasting impression. This sense of tranquility and connection with nature became the core of River and Stones. 
By recreating the water flows through glass and the tactile quality of stones with marble patterns, the table brings the essence of a serene river scene into everyday spaces, offering a reminder of nature’s enduring beauty.

Modern urban lifestyles have disconnected people from nature, limiting the calming benefits it provides. Research suggests that exposure to nature can help reduce stress, boost mood, and enhance focus. This has driven a growing trend toward biophilic design, incorporating natural materials and organic forms into indoor spaces to bring nature’s restorative qualities into daily life.
