I elevate stroke rehabilitation experience with the app and game

Pain Points During Stroke Rehab Journey:

- Lack of support and resources
- Poor performance of healthcare staff
- Unfriendly paper documents for stroke patients
- Inefficient communication with the healthcare system
- Poor accessibility to insurance and rehab teams in the U.S.
- Need for hosting events and launching a platform for stroke patients to connect
- Stroke patients and caregivers often feel hopeless, exhausted, lonely, and unmotivated
- Rehab therapy requires repetitive and consistent exercises, leading to boredom and fatigue

App Functions:

-Checking Schedule
-Following the rehab menu on the app
-Keep the rehab progress record in the app to visualize the data and motivate stroke survivor
-Provide feedback like complaints about the healthcare staff's performance
-Do telemedicine with doctors when staying at home or sharing experiences with other stroke patients
-Hosting online or in-person events for people to cheer each other up
-People can write articles about their feelings and experiences and post them
-Post, comment, and chat with others through the app like a social media for stroke community
-Activities and courses to register for:
Laugh therapy/Consulting/Yoga/Gardening/Cooking

Game- Finger muscle training - Physical and cognitive coordination:

Gamify the exercise regimen to enhance stroke patients’ motivation and engagement.
-Progressively narrow and complex route as game level advances
-Elements include levels, timing challenges, and restart options for tracking progress
-High contrast color display prevents monotony during repetitive tasks

Handle design tailored to meet stroke patients’ needs:

-Larger size and tilted angle
-Two different gripping positions for varying hand conditions
-The bottom of the handle provides support, eliminating the need to lift the hand when using it
